Where Does Your Fish Come From?
Sustainably Fishing Practices
All of the wild fish caught for our Boat to Bowl recipes come from Sustainable Fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
In order for our pet food to be considered MSC Certified Sustainable, the fish used in the recipes must be caught:
- From sustainable fish stocks with enough fish left in the sea to reproduce indefinitely with minimal environmental impact.
- All fishing operations must maintain the structure, productivity, function, and diversity of the marine ecosystem.
- By a fishery with effective management in place. Our fisheries must comply with relevant laws and have a management system that allows them to respond quickly to changes.
At Boat to Bowl, not only is all of our fish sustainably sourced, but we take the extra step by partnering with third-party, independent organizations who audit our harvesting practices to ensure we are following their strict guidelines for environmental responsibility. We do this so that you can feel completely confident that the cat food you're choosing to feed your pet contains the highest quality, wild-caught fish.

We use only premium, human-grade fish that were destined for restaurants and grocery stores. There is nothing fishy about our fish so you can be confident that you’re feeding your pet the same delectable fish you love to eat!
